Here I am, in all my glory, starting another blog. Sure, I work like a maniac (3 jobs, count em, 3!), am a Girls on Track coach, am in grad school and I'm trying to balance a relationship...BUT, I seriously have a LOT of down time...and a lot of thoughts that occupy them...SO, I'm trying this blog thing again...
A little about me: I'm a 30 (GULP!) year old single woman whose life has taken her from New Orleans to Virginia to Los Angeles to New York to...(drumroll please)...CHARLOTTE (insert no fanfare here!) Charlotte has been my home for almost six years now, and, quite frankly, it's grown on me simply because of the friends here...and the setting: nestled between the coastal areas (which I STILL have yet to visit) and the mountains (my favorite getaway), I love it here...hiking has become a great hobby of mine (who knew a girl from New Orleans with an infinity towards p-popping could take up hiking!) AND, if you don't know what p-popping is, DON'T look it up!
Anyway, my newest thing is getting rid of the massive clutter that follows me at home...I have too many clothes (there, I said it...) SO, today, I looked up this blogger in the local newspaper who chronicles how she set a weekly goal of just ridding yourself of 10 items a week...just 10! "I can do that," I thought...so, I'm doing it! Hence, the title of this blog post...a pair of (unworn) Aldo boots, and so much stuff from Banana Republic, it should be outlawed...BUT it got me to ten...
In another post, I'll talk about my word for this year - discipline - and how all of this incorporates that...smooches!
